Review on Proof 10 Eye Stick Primer

I thought I'd be able to update more frequently, but work has been bugging me down so I'm really sorry about that! :(

Anyways, in my previous post, I have mentioned about wanting to try on some primers or makeup base, and I finally got the chance to get myself something from Etude House from an online store at great deals along with my colleagues (so the shipping fee was shared amongst many of us from this site).

I am pretty much a cheapo, so I snagged things when they are on sales. This one costs less than RM30 (less than 7USD as of the current exchange rate) with taxes included, and hey, it's from Etude House so it should be pretty good, or at least that was what I think, so I made my colleague to place an order for me! \o/

The shipping on the site sounds much like a turn-off, but with everyone splitting the parcel it's completely affordable! The product itself is only 1.3g based on the description, and the packaging also says that it's waterproof so I've been really excited to try it out!

As some of you might have known, eye primers would really help you to bring out the colors of the products - it's like an enhancement of color! They are said that you will only need small amounts of primers to let the magic happen, and since the colors of your eyeshadow will be seemingly more pigmented, it also means you can save your products since you don't have to apply so much more to let the color show! (Also, it won't be cakey since you aren't going to apply so many layers too!)

The product looks like a pen, in metallic blue and I absolutely love the product color! Then the product itself is purely in white, and I've been trying hard to see if there's a smell but I didn't smell anything unpleasant at all. Well to be more exact, there's no fragrance as well.

When I applied the product, I wasn't too sure how it'd turn out since it's actually pretty cheap compared to brands like Urban Decay or Too Faced. I have like super oily Asian double lids, and my eyeshadow color seem to stick to the creases, and the color fades elsewhere very easily, in about 3 to 4 hours, I'd say. This was one of the reasons why I got this product to start as a eye primer.

How did it turn out? This primer, for heaven's sake, keeps my eyeshadow lasting so much longer! It only started to fade after my working hours and I'm like (; ・`д・´)マジかよ (are you serious). I only applied a very, very light layer on my eyelids! Not to mention it dries so fast I was kinda unsure if I actually applied something at first then I was like HMMMMM I DEFINITELY DID APPLY SOMETHING. However, it's also a little more difficult to correct mistakes, and the packaging makes me think that I'll have to dig the product out when I'm almost finishing it. Then again I think it's fine since I do that like all the time to my lip balm LOL

I'd give this product a 5/5, because it's been working so well for the past week (still ongoing)!

Have you used this product? Or did it not work out for you? Let me know! ^^
