Pony Effect Effect Nail Lacquer
Pony Effect - Effect Nail Lacquer
Hey everyone!
I've been really busy to write, but today, I wanted to write something about nail polish form Pony Effect!
Many of us that likes Korean makeup style would most likely know about Pony! She's a YouTuber that has a really large audience group for her makeup tutorials that are really easy to understand! Not to mention, she also made a makeup video to look like Taylor Swift and I find that impressive that an Asian could use cosmetics to look like a Caucasian!
And yes, Pony has launched her own line of makeup products, but all I wanted to tell today is their nail polish!
I bought two colors, one of them is called #LOCKED AWAY and the other one is #WHISTLE. Locked away is maroon in color, while Whistle is lavender-ish. I bought the colors because they look absolutely beautiful and also I could get a freebie (which is a mirror) during the sales period on Hermo. :D
These colors dries pretty easily, and you'll probably need to apply at least two layers for a nicer color imo. The colors look great with and without top coat, but of course, using a top coat would help the colors to last longer!
I actually also bought the colors because...
I was not able to get over my UtaPri 6th live feels earlier of this year. HaruHana is one of the songs performed during the live (and not to mention, the song was also new back then) by two beautiful voices that I really liked (Aoi Shouta and Tatsuhisa Suzuki) and these colors are similar to their character image color, so yeah :D
That aside, the other reason that I wanted to try these from Pony Effect is that, since she's such a popular YouTuber on cosmetics, I want to believe that she understand what makes a nice product, and I think she has done the job quite well! I really liked the colors, but somehow I really suck at painting my nails (lol) so it didn't look good on my first try :(
Later attempts were definitely a lot better after my nails were properly cleaned and stuff, and I think that the color's brilliant! I also tried topping it with a matte top coat from innisfree and it wasn't bad too! But matte wasn't quite my style so I didn't get any matte top coats because aye if I paint my nails I want them shine lol but that could be just me.
In terms of odor, yeap you'd definitely expect some nail polish smell, but the smell isn't lasting for very long, and it dries pretty quickly so yep I really like them :D
I'd love to give a 4.5/5 because huhu why don't you have more colors available TωT and tbh I didn't need a remover to get rid of the nail colors, I kind of managed to peel them off a couple of days later as well lolololol
That's all for today! Until next time!
